Go around the entire island in seven days of hiking and create unforgettable memories. It’s 185 km along Menorca’s perimeter on the historic Camí de Cavalls (GR 223) in self-guided format. Along the way you’ll see almost every cove and beach, the island’s most iconic landscapes, major towns like Ciutadella and Maó, sunsets, and so much more than any website could ever list.
Camí de Cavalls 180º North – 7 Stages
If 185 km sounds a bit much—or if you prefer a slower pace—you can just do the northern half in the same seven stages. That’s about 96 km, also self-guided, following the same historic trail. The highlights? S’Albufera des Grau Natural Park, Pont d’en Gil, lighthouses like Favàritx and Punta Nati, both Maó and Ciutadella, plus epic beaches like Cavalleria, Pregonda, Cala Morell, and Cala Tortuga.
Camí de Cavalls 180º South – 6 Stages
Of course, you can also choose to explore the southern half in six stages, self-guided along the Camí de Cavalls. That’s around 88 km featuring coves like Son Saura, Macarella, Macarelleta, Cala en Turqueta, Cala Galdana, Cala Mitjana, and more.
