Transportation and extras

Epic Camí de Cavalls 360º offers to participants transportation and extra services needed to take part in the event.

All extras can be contracted in the time of registration or later from the My team private space before February 20. Anyway, be aware that some of the services are subject to availability, so it is recommended to book them as soon as possible.

With regard to the price of the different services, it can be seen in the registration form or My team space.

Transfer to the start of each stage

Transfers will be made every morning, leaving from Es Mercadal (end point of all stages) and bound for the different starting points of the stages, depending on the modality.

No stops will be made along the way and there won’t be any transfer from any other point of the island.

No transfers will be done at the end of the stages, except for the transfer from Es Migjorn Gran to Es Mercadal at the end of the 1st stage (which is already included in the registration).

Airport transfers

The transfers will take place on Thursday 12th and on Sunday 15th (a stop in the city center of Maó will be made if requested). Timetables and frequency of transfers will be set depending on the arrival time of participants and/or companions, provided that in a given time period there is a minimum of 8 people who have contracted the service. If there is not a minimum of 8 people, it will be communicated in advance and the possibility of recovering the corresponding amount will be offered. Companions transfers have to be booked separately, after the registration is done, sending an email to [email protected] before February 20.

Participants carrying their own bike in the plane will have to ask for the bike transportation from the airport to Es Mercadal, sending an email to [email protected] before 20th of February.

Bike transfer service to the start of each stage

The bike transfer service from Es Mercadal to the starting point of each stage can be booked at the time of registration.

No transfers will be made at the end of the stages.

Breakfast and/or dinner

All participants can book the breakfasts and dinners at Hotel Jeni, even if they didn’t sleep there.

Mechanical assistance

Mechanical assistance service for bikes available for all participants at the end of the first and second stage. The price of the service depends on the required assistance. The service does not include the possible cost of spare parts.

Physiotherapy and podiatry service

This service will be available at the end of each stage. Service availability to those who haven’t booked it before February 8th is not guaranteed.

Bike delivery and rental

Participants in MountainBike Epic 360º who travel to Menorca have a variety of options in order to bring the bikes to Menorca:

Travelling by boat

If you travel by boat, things will be easy for you, as there is no extra charge to bring the bike with you and you won’t need to disassemble it to leave it in the hold of the ship.

Bike rental

Although in a race like this the best option is to use your own bike, to rent a bike is certainly the easiest for those not traveling by boat. The recommended option is Tot Velo bike shop.

Bike delivery

Tot Velo bike shop offers a special bike delivery service at a very convenient price. It includes the delivery as well as reception and assembling of the bike before the race; disassembling, packaging and delivery after the race.

Travelling by plane

Each company has its own special conditions to travel with the bike, but usually require to disassemble and pack the bike, and they charge a fee to check it (it may vary depending on the airline).

Federative license for MountainBike Epic 360º

All MountainBike participants are required to have the appropriate federative license.

Otherwise, the three-day license must be contracted at the time of registration, or on February 20 at the latest. Foreign participants holding a license must submit a certificate from their federation as late as February 20 indicating that the race is covered by their license.

Cancellation insurance

The Cancellation insurance must be requested by email to [email protected] within 24 hours after completing the registration. It costs 10 € per person and offers the option of recovering the full amount of the registration -except for a management fee of 30 € per participant- in case of a justified cancellation until the day before the start of the race.
