Camí de Cavalls (GR 223) is an ancient path of 185 km long that surrounds Menorca following its coast. Decidedly, it is the best way to discover the natural wealth and heritage of an island that gathers almost every existing ecosystem in the Mediterranean

A PATH THAT IS MENORCA

Camí de Cavalls is an ancient path that surrounds Menorca, following accurately, for many kilometers, the confines of the island. For this reason, Camí de Cavalls is not only a path that surrounds the island, but the island itself. It reflects its finitude and boundaries. In this regard, we can say that Camí de Cavalls IS Menorca.

Camí de Cavalls actually is the sum of a variety of tracks and paths. Its route has been slightly modified along the centuries; most of it has been kept untouched. Camí de Cavalls crosses gullies, rocky zones, valleys, wetland and farming areas; it units ancient watchtowers, lighthouses and trenches, and it leads to a great deal of coves and spots of the island.
